Best Wenger Watches In 2022
Swiss watches are famous around the world. That’s because, for hundreds of years, they’ve been making some of the most reliable, durable, and stylish watches that money can buy. The problem with Swiss watches is that you need a lot of money to buy them. That is unless you buy a Wenger watch.
They are one of those rare companies that manage to provide great quality and style for an affordable price. And that’s not because they’re the new kids on the block. In fact, Wenger was started in 1893 and were one of the original makers of the Swiss Army Knife. If you want to know more about the history of Wenger, check out our Buyer’s Guide at the bottom of the article. First though, here are the twenty best Wenger watches.
The Best Wenger Watch
1Victorinox Men’s 249085 Original XL Watch
We thought long and hard about the Best Choice in this list. We had a really strong feeling that this was our favorite watch out of the twenty, but the problem was it was a Victorinox watch, not a Wenger. Then, after some deliberation, we decided it had to come first. Victorinox acquired Wenger in 2005, so they’re pretty much the same company anyway. The two Swiss companies are so closely linked in terms of their products, history, and branding, that it made sense for them to combine. Check out our history of Wenger at the bottom of this article.
So, what is it about Victorinox Men’s 249085 Swiss Quartz watch that caught our eye? Well, if you look at the features it’s not so different from a lot of watches around this price range. It has both 12- and 24-hour timekeeping, is waterproof to 100m, has a high-quality 43mm plastic case, and is powered by a Swiss quartz movement. The woven nylon band is – like everything on the watch – super hard-wearing. You could take this watch with you pretty much any way and it’s going to stand up to the test.
But the thing that really stood out to us is the styling. It might not be to everyone’s taste, but we think it pretty much epitomizes Wenger and Victorinox watches. It’s the Swiss Army watch.

The quintessential Swiss watch – hardwearing, stylish, and timeless.
If you look after it carefully, it will last for decades.
A small number of reviews on Amazon questions the timekeeping ability. Likely just faulty or damaged watches.
2Wenger Men’s 0641.102 Sea Force 3H Watch
The next watch is towards the higher prices you can expect to pay for a Wenger watch. At $200, it’s starting to compete with some well-known luxury watch brands like Seiko watches and Tissot watches. That’s why Wenger Sea Force been chosen as our Premium Choice in this list. But the price isn’t the only reason, this is a really high-quality watch.
The thick 43mm case protects the Swiss quartz movement up to a depth of 200m, making it perfect for a casual diver or anyone working at sea professionally. They say it’s not suitable for professional diving, but a depth of 200m should be enough for anyone’s requirements. Plus, the rotating bezel and luminous hands make it easy to read in any light conditions.
This watch makes as much sense in a business meeting as it does on board a working boat out at sea. The Wenger Sea Force is one of the best Wenger watches available and, with this company’s pedigree, that’s saying something.

The price makes it a direct competitor of a lot of great watches.
3Wenger Men’s ‘Roadster’ Silicone Casual Watch
This Wenger Roadster Silicone Casual is all about size and simplicity. There are no extra features on this watch to distract you from the job at hand. That’s what makes this one of the best-looking men’s watches in their collection. Well, that is if you like a watch with a large face. At 45mm, the case really stands out on the wrist, even with the subtle black strap.
It’s water-resistant to 100m, which makes it fine for swimming and snorkeling, but you wouldn’t want to take this on a serious dive and use it as a dive watch. And, if you really want your watch to stand out, you can get it with a bright orange or yellow strap.

Options for bright orange, yellow, and red straps.
Heavy and bulky design means it’s not suited to everyone.
4Wenger Men’s ‘Roadster’ Leather Casual Watch
Here’s another version of the Wenger Roadster. At face value, Wenger Men’s ‘Roadster’ Leather Casual Watch is more complicated than the previous one with a rotating bezel and three sub-dials on the watch face. But, don’t let that put you off, this is still a very attractive sports watch. As part of Wenger’s Black Night range, this watch is supposed to be very easy to read in the dark, but some of the reviews on Amazon say otherwise.
The main difference between this Roadster and the last is the price. At less than $100, this watch is really good value for money. Plus, it comes with the beautiful Nylon strap, one of our favorite Wenger watch bands.

5Wenger Men’s 72422 AeroGraph Cockpit NATO Watch
The Wenger AeroGraph Cockpit is definitely an acquired taste. It’s one of the few watches on this list that really looks like a Wenger Swiss military watch. That’s because of the thick green silicone strap and the bulky, square 42mm stainless steel case. It’s probably not going to look great at a black-tie dinner, but if you’re looking for something rugged and ready for anything, this is the watch for you.
The square, screw-edged watch face has chunky white numbers, a magnified date window, and white-filled hands, which make it extremely easy to view the time or date at a glance. It’s water-resistant to 100m and shock-resistant, so if you accidentally drop it or hit it against something solid, it’s not going to break. It’s the perfect Wenger Swiss military watch for the rough-and-ready adventurer.

The style of the watch only really looks good in an outdoor environment.
6Wenger Men’s ‘Roadster’ Swiss Quartz Leather Casual Watch
You might recognize this watch. That’s not because all Wenger watches look the same, it’s because it’s the third Wenger Roadster watch on the list. Like the watch featured at number four, this one is also from the Black Night range, which means it’s affordable, tough, and one of the best watches you can get for under $100.
As with the first Black Night watch, this Wenger Men’s ‘Roadster’ is a Swiss-made Chronograph watch with a sapphire coated mineral crystal watch face, making it scratch-resistant and anti-reflective. It’s got a large 45mm case to protect the swiss-quartz movement and it’s waterproof to 100m. The main difference between the two watches is the strap. Instead of the tough green nylon strap, this one features a black leather strap with a red nylon thread which really suits the red and black watch face. It’s really just a matter of style opinion between the two watches because, other than that, they’re pretty much the same.

7Wenger Men’s ‘Attitude Day/Date’ Casual Watch
If you’re not into the chunkier Wenger sport’s watches, ‘Attitude Day/Date’ Casual Watch might be for you. The simplicity of the black leather strap and the smaller 41mm white watch face make it a classically attractive watch. It’s one of those watches that you never have to take off. It’ll look just as good in casual clothes as it would with a three-piece suit.
The name comes from the fact that it has a full day and date display on the watch face. It’s not something that you often see on a watch face, so it’s perfect for the guy that is always forgetting what day it is.
But it’s not all style and no substance. It’s still water-resistant to 100m and has the famous swiss-quartz movement that these watches are famous for. It’s pretty visible in low-light, but don’t expect this watch to be completely luminous when you’re in the dark. This isn’t one of the best Wenger watches, but for the price, it’s a great timepiece. Make sure you also check our guide to the best thin watches.

8Wenger Men’s 01.1051.103 Escort
If you’re looking for a timepiece that has a really unique look about it, you’ve got to consider the Wenger Escort. Maybe it’s the massive numbers every 15 minutes of the hour, or maybe it’s the brown suede strap, but there’s something about this watch that really stands out. Like with anything that has a unique style, it’s really a matter of personal taste as to whether you’ll want it strapped around your wrist.
The style is one thing, but you can’t deny the technology of the watch. By now, you’ll be pretty familiar with Wenger’s watch tech – it’s a waterproof watch up to 100m, uses swiss-quartz movement, and has a protective mineral crystal window. No surprises there then. If you like the style, you’ve got to check out the different strap and color options – the black dial with yellow numerals is a particular favorite.

9Wenger Unisex 70440 Analog-Digital Display Watch
A lot of the watches featured so far have been pretty simple. Wenger isn’t known for loading its watches with lots of gadgets and dials. Wenger Unisex 70440 is an exception. Underneath the analog display is two digital displays, which are used for measuring split-time events. It’s an altimeter watch, so you can measure the altitude of a fixed object. There’s a barometer, for checking the air pressure. Plus, it has an alarm, compass, chronograph, temperature gauge, and a rotating bezel. The numbers and markers are luminescent, and the watch is lit by an electro-luminescent backlight.
You might need to sit down after reading that, it’s a lot to take in. If you’re one of those guys that can’t get enough of gadgets, this watch is perfect for you. But be warned, you might need to carry around the instruction manual with you. If there’s one downside to this watch, it’s the fact that it’s only water-resistant to 30m.

10Wenger Men’s ‘Off Road’ Swiss Quartz
The Wenger Off Road watch was designed with the adventurer in mind. The name is a bit of a giveaway, but you can really tell the inspiration when you take a look at the features. It is one of the only Wenger watches to feature a dual time zone. That means it has two-hour hands so that, when you’re on the road, you can set one to your current time zone and one to home. Never again will you have to call up your loved ones and ask them what time it is back home. Aside from that, it has a tough black silicone strap and a stainless steel 43mm case, which make it stylish and durable in equal measure. Perfect for when you’re on the road or off the beaten track. 11Wenger Men’s Squadron Chrono Watch 77054
At first glance, Wenger Men’s Squadron seems way too dark to be useable in everyday life. But don’t let the product picture fool you, the black watch face and grey dials are actually surprisingly easy to see when you get it out of the box. This field watch has to be one of the coolest options in the whole Wenger range. The numerals and hands are also luminous which should make it a great watch to wear at night, but, if you believe the Amazon reviews, the luminosity is not strong enough.
Like a lot of the more expensive Wenger watches, it comes with a unidirectional rotating bezel, which allows you to measure elapsed time much easier. It’s also got three subdials, a date display, and a thick silicone strap that means it’s not going to be coming off your wrist in a hurry.

12Wenger Men’s 78255 GST Watch
This next watch oozes class. From a quick glance, it would be difficult to tell how much this watch costs – it could be $200 or $2000. Price isn’t everything when it comes to watches but, with this being one of the most expensive in Wenger’s range, you want a watch to look good when you are paying $200. And style is the main thing that this watch has going for it. You could wear it to a dinner party, a business meeting, or just around the house. It’s going to look good all the time. That’s down to the combination of the beautifully crafted stainless-steel case and the classy, weathered leather strap.
It’s the small details in Wenger Men’s 78255 GST Watch that really make it feel great. It has a sweep second hand, which means it glides effortlessly across the watch, instead of mechanically ticking its way around. Plus, it’s no slouch in terms of functionality with its unidirectional rotating bezel, three subdials, and 12-hour chronograph. 13Wenger Edge Romans Men’s Watch 011141123
A gold watch, for less than $60! Before you get too excited, it isn’t real gold. In fact, it’s gold-painted stainless steel, but it still looks pretty impressive for the price. We had to include this watch as our Best Value product because – gold or no gold – it’s amazing value to get a watch from an amazing company like Wenger for such a small price. You have to wonder how they’re even making money on these watches!
The black dial against the gold hands and numbers give Wenger Edge Romans a really classy feel. That class is also backed up by the simplicity of the watch. It’s got nothing in the way of technology, but that’s not what this watch is all about. It tells you the time and it does it in an elegant way. You could even take the straps off and make your very own Wenger pocket watch. What more could you want?

14Wenger Men’s 77060 Squadron Silver Watch
The second watch from the Squadron range, there is something quintessentially Swiss about this watch. Perhaps it’s the splashes of red and white on the design or it could be the amazing attention to detail. Either way, this is a true Swiss watch. And the greatest thing about buying a true Swiss watch from Wenger is that it’s not going to break the bank.

15Wenger Field Classic Men’s Watch 01.0441.108
This Wenger field watch was a strong contender for our Best Value watch. It’s less than $60, which means it is one of the cheapest watches on the list. The reason it’s so cheap is that it’s so simple. Field watches (also known as Officer’s watches) are purposefully designed to be simple, easy-to-read, and very durable. That’s because they were worn by military personnel that needs a watch they can rely on – something that is going to work at all times.
The only problem that we have with the Wenger Field Classic is the design of the watch face. They’ve decided to use a grey and white camouflage pattern that makes it slightly difficult to read the time. Find more great products like this by checking out our guide to the best Luminox watches.

16Wenger Men’s 0643.103 Analog Display Watch
Wenger 0643.103 is the second Wenger men’s watch from the SeaForce range. That means it’s the perfect option for those of you that like to live a life on the high seas. Whether you’re into water sports, fishing, boating, or even recreational diving. It really depends on what sort of depths you are diving to – it can handle anything up to 200m.
The mixture of black and blue on the watch give it a nautical feel. While it doesn’t have any numbers, the dials are extremely easy to read at a glance. Plus, it has a rotating bezel and a 12-hour chronograph, which will come in handy in a number of nautical situations. Overall, the watch has a chunky and solid feel and looks fantastic. The blue and black color scheme works really well.
The watch is very chunky and heavy, not great for slim wrists.
17Wenger Men’s 70474 Alpine Moss-Green Dial Watch
It’s really difficult to put Wenger Men’s 70474 Alpine into a category. It’s certainly not a classic field watch because it’s got chunky modern numbers and a modern watch face. But then it’s not completely modern either. It’s one of those watches that you’d need to see before you bought it.
Having said all that, it’s a pretty versatile watch in terms of its style. The smaller 42mm case, black calfskin strap, and painted stainless-steel case give it a really subtle look. Like most of the Wenger range, it’s shock-resistant and water-resistant to 100m. You may also like our selection of the best Bulova watches so check it out.

18Wenger Urban Classic Black Dial Men’s Watch 011043108
Wenger Urban Classic 011043108 looks like nothing else on this list. The watch face by itself isn’t particularly unique, but it has a metal mesh band that is painted in a gunmetal color. This gives the whole watch a really cohesive design that will look great on anyone’s wrist. It’s another one of those watches that you could wear in a casual or a formal setting.
It has three subdials that you’ll recognize from a lot of the Wenger watches. Plus, it’s water-resistant to 100m. If you love nice timepieces check out our guide to the best Nixon watches.

19Wenger Men’s AquaGraph Deep Diver Watch
Pretty much all of Wenger’s watches are water-resistant. Whether it’s to 100m or 200m, they are nearly all capable of being taken on recreational dives and other water activities. The Wenger AquaGraph Deep Diver watch is different though. It’s designed especially with deep-diving in mind, which is why it can go to a depth of 1000m.
There’re very few people who will need that sort of deep water-resistance, but if you’re one of those people, this is a perfect watch for you. To be honest, even if you’re not a deep-sea diver, it’s still a great watch. It’s extremely hardwearing, has a beautiful aqua green case, and a tough silicon strap.

20Wenger Squadron Rescue Men’s Watch
No one is going to miss you when you walk into a room with Wenger Squadron Rescue Men’s Watch. The bright orange strap takes care of that. Love it or hate it, it stands out a mile away. It also has the logo emblazoned in thick writing across the strap, so everyone knows you’re wearing a Wenger. It’s definitely not a watch for the timid guys out there.
The watch face has three subdials, including one with an aviation-inspired propeller instead of hands. It’s got a rotating bezel and even comes with a matching swiss-army knife. This watch is definitely for the sporty, adventurer type.

Wenger Watch Buying Guide
History Of Wenger
Wenger is probably most famous for making Swiss Army Knives. The company was founded as a knife factory in 1893 in Courtételle, near Delémont in the Swiss Jura region. Since then, they’ve grown into a multi-faceted company that make knives, luggage, watches, and more. Wenger is named after their founder Theo Wenger, who was a Swiss minister that worked in the USA. The company made both spoons and forks but when they received the contract from the Swiss Army, they became best known for their knives.
In 2005, the company was acquired by its main competitor Victorinox. There was some initial worry that they would lose their identity, but they have managed to keep a separate branding and name. In 2013, Wenger knives were integrated into the Victorinox line, with the Wenger Red keeping the original branding. Wenger now focuses on watches and luggage and continue to maintain their reputation for quality craftsmanship and iconic products.
